Tear trough filler is a delicate procedure, and proper aftercare is key to achieving smooth, natural results. After your treatment, please avoid the following:

* **No alcohol or blood-thinning medications/supplements** unless approved

* **No heat exposure** (saunas, hot tubs, or steam rooms)

* **No facial treatments or massages near the eye area** for 2 weeks

* **Avoid flying** for **3–4 weeks** if possible, as cabin pressure and altitude changes can exacerbate swelling

**Plan accordingly:**
Bruising and swelling are common and may take **up to 2 weeks** to fully resolve. For this reason, it’s best to **avoid scheduling filler around major events** like weddings, travel, or professional photos.

Subtle enhancements can make such an impact!

For example my client had 2️⃣ 💉 syringes of Juvederm Voluma injected supraperiosteum (on bone) to her right cheek and midface region. She also had Juvederm Ultra plus injected a week ago. 💋 into her lips. She has a total of 1.5 cccin her lips.

As you can see, there’s a slight “lift” that was created on her right cheek and midface (left side if you’re looking at the photo). Weight was taken off of her nasolabial fold on the right which also decreased her marionette lines on the right side, as indicated by the arrows.

In addition, the gonial angle was also supported by this procedure which shows improvement in skin laxity on the jawline and posterior portion of the jawline angle. 📐

Slowly but surely I will be carrying out a full care plan for this client. We will be looking at doing jawline, chin, tear trough, and PRF EZ-GEL with maintenance Botox. 🫶🏼🤌🏼

In total this client had 4 ccs of Juvederm Voluma injected today and 84 units of Botox injected in her frontalis, procerus, orbicularis oculi, and we did a “lip flip”. She tolerated the procedure well!

I get a series of topical PRX treatments by Ashton at @edenmedspatx with a microneedling combination!

A PRX facial treatment is a renowned non-invasive procedure from Italy combining the benefits of a topical bio stimulator and microneedling, often used to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. Here’s an outline of the typical steps involved in a PRX facial:

1. Consultation
- A consultation with a skincare professional is done to assess your skin type, discuss concerns, and determine if you’re a suitable candidate for the treatment.

2. Cleansing
- The skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove dirt, oils, and makeup, ensuring a clean surface for the treatment.

3. Application of PRX-T33 Solution

Part 1 of a day in my life as a licensed & certified master aesthetic FNP injector 👩🏼‍⚕️ in Austin Texas.

I start every day off by reviewing patient charts and my patient schedule for the day, followed by good music and some dance moves to boost my energy! 😂

I then pull all product I feel I may use on my clients during their procedures.

I reconstitute neuromodulators based on client need to avoid having to do that mid procedure, which saves me time.

What all did I perform on this beauty? 👇🏼

1) I did full face Botox about two weeks ago so the Botox has fully kicked in and has done its thing at this point. I treated her procerus, frontalis, orbicularis oculi’s, mentalis, and nasalis muscles! ✨

2) I then used Juvederm Voluma on supraperiosteum; one full mL per side 💉💉
✨

3) using RHA Redensity, I gently treated her zygomatic cutaneous ligament separation of the SOOF and medial fat pads with about 0.3 cc per side, staying right under the superficial fat pads to avoid animation deformity. I used a cannula and started from the lateral portion of the zygoma working toward the inner canthal region.

4) I then augmented her jawline and chin using 2 syringes 💉💉 of RHA 4

5) Using Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, I injected her lips for hydration, volume, and shape with about 0.7 cc of dermal HA filler.

6) After the healing process takes place, we will be focusing on softening her nasolabial folds, add volume to the pyriform fossa, temple volumization, and touch ups as needed! ✨

Isn’t it amazing what I accomplished with filler for this patient?

I used the one point injection technique for her tip lift and it came out fabulous with only two injections.

The nasal bridge injections are on periosteum (bone) & I only used 3 injection points for a total of 0.3 cc’s. So a total of 5 injection 💉points were used to achieve this look. 👃🏼

We could’ve injected Botox to help lift the tip as well. However, I focused on a combination approach using Botox and filler together to achieve these results. Botox alone will not give the appearance of a “tinker-bell tip lift” but will help from the pulling down of the tip or nasal flaring during animation.

Restylane Lyft was used for her liquid rhinoplasty & diamond tip 👃🏼, while Xeomin was the chosen neuromodulator for her tip lift.

Always consult with a licensed health care professional who is certified in aesthetic medicine 💊 and has a few years of experience under their belt when considering liquid rhinoplasty augmentation.

This is considered a higher risk procedure as the nose is very vascular with over 9 branches of anastomosed capillaries and arteries, which supply blood to the arteries that support your vision! 👀😲

Jawline was the highlight of today’s focus! 🤌🏼✨

💉💉💉💉4 syringes were used on the jawline and one on the chin. 💉

Believe it or not, that may sound like a lot to those who have never augmented a jawline, or to patients who are new to injectables, however each syringe is only 1mL or 1 cc.

For reference, when an entire syringe is injected out into a surface, the size is comparable to a blueberry. 🫐

So really, for a true transformation, jawline can take 3-4 syringes alone, not including the chin. It depends on the goal of the patient, their natural anatomy/bone structure/support, tissue composition and health/integrity of skin, and lastly age.

If a patient only wants a touch up in a year or two, it may be appropriate to only use 2 syringes 💉 at that time.

Today I used Restylane fillers subdermal via cannula technique and placed filler supraperiosteum via needle on bone technique.
